Acceptance of Terms & Conditions

Membership in any community hosted on the Buzzing Space online networking platform is subject to the acceptance of these terms and conditions. By using any part of the Buzzing Space website or online platform, you indicate your acceptance of these terms.

Ownership

The proprietary Buzzing Space online networking platform is owned and operated by Enterprise Events Ltd. ("EEL"), registered at Companies House in England and Wales, Company No: 02396086. Registered Address: 73 High Street Aylesford, Kent ME20 7AY. In these terms & conditions, EEL is referred to as "we" or “us”.

Community Membership

EEL manages a suite of online communities on the Buzzing Space platform, fostering direct, trustworthy networking. We curate these spaces to exchange best practices and insights, nurturing a learning culture among peers grouped on the basis of shared professional interests. This ensures mutually beneficial and relevant interactions.

Members are individuals who have registered and been accepted into any of the online communities hosted on the Buzzing Space platform, meeting specific eligibility criteria and maintaining active participation in accordance with community guidelines.

Membership eligibility criteria, unique to each community, are designed to maintain a community rooted in shared experiences and values. Criteria details are available on each community's web page. Members must update their profiles to reflect any changes in their professional life. We may revoke membership if these criteria are not met, if there’s a conflict of interest, if terms & conditions are violated, or if actions undermine the network’s purpose or our commitments. Changes such as job transitions, employer changes, or retirement may impact eligibility for continued membership.

Membership Fees

Membership Fees refer to the financial contribution required from members to maintain active participation in a community. These fees may vary, structured either as a fixed amount or on a pay-as-you-feel basis, where members choose their payment within a specified range based on the value they derive from the community. Fees are typically billed monthly.

In certain circumstances, invited or referred members may be offered an initial trial membership, free of charge. Following the trial period, monthly membership fees are based on a pay-as-you-feel model within a range of £25 - £95 per month. This model is designed to ensure fees align with the value derived. However, EEL reserves the right, with three months' notice, to alter this commercial model if necessary.

Members can modify their monthly payments, within the published range, or cancel membership with a one-month notice.

Direct applicants, not referred by an existing member, may be subject to a fixed monthly fee of £25 during their initial three-month period. Following this, membership fees will transition to the pay-as-you-feel model, allowing members to adjust their contributions based on the perceived value of their membership.

Privacy and Data Protection

We request personal information solely for the purpose of granting membership, providing services, and keeping you informed. All information you provide will be held in confidence by EEL, who will adhere to applicable UK data protection laws and regulations, and relevant international standards such as GDPR for European members.

To encourage open dialogue, all Buzzing Space activities adhere to the 'Chatham House Rule’. This principle allows participants to use the information received during discussions but prohibits revealing the identity or affiliation of the speaker(s) or any other participant, promoting candidness and protecting privacy. Contributions and conclusions from discussion groups may be recorded, written about, and published online, but individual contributors will not be identified. Members are entrusted to uphold the confidentiality of information shared within the community, honouring the trust and privacy of all participants.

Limitation of Liability

Your use of the Buzzing Space website or online platform is at your own risk and EEL will not be liable to you or anyone else for consequential damages. EEL shall not be held liable for any actions, opinions, or advice exchanged among members within the community. In any circumstances that prevent or restrict the use of the Buzzing Space platform, EEL's maximum liability, for any reason, shall be limited to the prorated amount remaining, if any, of the membership fee paid.

Dispute Resolution

In the event of a dispute, members are encouraged to contact us directly to seek a resolution by emailing: support@buzzing.space. If the dispute cannot be resolved internally, we agree to enter mediation or arbitration as a preliminary step before resorting to legal proceedings.

Amendments to Terms & Conditions

We reserve the right to modify these terms and conditions at any time. Changes and clarifications will take effect immediately upon their posting on the website. We will notify members of significant changes through email or a prominent notice on our website, giving you the opportunity to review and comment on the revised terms before continuing membership.

Governing Law

This Agreement and any non-contractual obligations arising out of or in connection with it shall be governed by and construed in accordance with English law.
